Gary Lee Overbey, a loving husband, father, son, brother and grandfather, went to be with our passed away on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009.Celebration of life: A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at the United Methodist Church in Whitewright. He will be interred at 1 p.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.Gary was born Dec. 13, 1947, in St. Louis, Mo. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in Arlington in 1966. He was bell guard and class president. He received his degree in criminal justice from Abilene Christian University. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for eight years.
