Jeffrey Dean Owens, Sr. passed away August 12, 2011 in Frisco, Texas. He was 56 years old. Jeff was born on July 2, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was the son of Garth and Lucy Owens.Early in his career, Jeff traveled extensively working in several countries but Texas was always his home. He was a self-made man attending college classes in the evening while working during the day. He took great pride in providing well for his family. Jeff was a very kind, generous, loving man and will be missed by all who knew him. During his career, Jeff earned several patents and awardsbut was very modest about his accomplishments. At the time of his death, he was employed for many years by Maxium Integrated Products. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy. Jeff leaves behind his loving wife and soul mate, Linn; sons Jeffrey Jr. of Austin, Chad and his wife Kendyl of Mabank, daughters Laura of Dallas, Bethany of Frisco, grandchildren Hayden and Gracie Henry of Mabank, father Garth Owens and brother Glen Owens both of Dallas. Jeff also leaves behind his "four-legged furry person" Sandy Linn. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 10:30 am in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
