John Craig Hedgehopper Parchman of Irving, Texas passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the age of 67.Craig was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. He held many titles: Big Daddy as he liked to be called by his grandchildren, Hedgehopper as he was called by the Geocache community, and known simply as Craig to many others. He enjoyed geocaching, traveling, Pokmon Go, the outdoors, history, and researching family ancestry. Craig was an electrical engineer by trade.Craig is proceeded in death by his father John B. Parchman, mother Geraldine Parchman, brother Elvin Parchman and Joni Kay Hobbs. Craig is survived by son Eric Parchman and wife Jennifer Parchman of Lafayette, LA, daughter Erica Parchman-Shirley and husband Sgt. Shane Shirley of Little Elm, TX, grandsons Andrew Parchman, Liam Parchman, Jude Pontiff and Nicholas Fontenot and, granddaughters Gracen Parchman, Brianna Smith and Lauren Shirley and nephew Christopher Parchman.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
