Obituary

Julie Ann Partridge ascended into Heaven on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the age of 72. Devoted, loving wife and mother, was surrounded by angels as Jesus brought her Home.Julie was a devout Catholic, with early seeds planted while attending Holy Name in Topeka Kansas. As a child, It was not uncommon to say the rosary daily or to run into the church at recess or after school to say a quick prayerJesus, Mary, Joseph.Coming from a political background from her father, Julie was sent an invitation at an early age in the 2nd grade from the Governors wife of Kansas to assist in serving punch at the Governors Annual Evening Reception. She gladly accepted and attended with her parents. Her fathers picture was printed in the newspaper with the Governor along with other photos taken with Kennedy.She attended UMKC and later Brookhaven College. She was a Pro Life activist, giving a powerful speech in college and picketing many clinics.In 1970, she was a beauty contestant in the Miss Kansas City Pageant. She modeled a gorgeous dress that she made herself, as one of her many talents.She met the love of her life, Joseph, at 22 years old while employed as his receptionist at Schofield Brothers in Wichita, Kansas. They wed after 6 months of dating and were married for 48 blissful years. Julie always said her life officially began after meeting Joe.Julie was an active Member of Mary Immaculate School/Church and Brookhaven Country Club. She served on the Mary Immaculate School Board for 7 years, was President of the PTA, Room Mom for both her daughters and facilitated many annual May Fairs.Julie was the Executive Assistant to the Comptroller of Dallas at City Hall.She spent (X) years as an Executive Assistant for Childrens Health supporting the CEO office, DFO, VP of Accounting and VP of Finance. She helped facilitate the Adolphus/Childrens Annual Christmas Parades amongst many other high end executive responsibilities.Her experience prior to Childrens Health included executive management of multiple properties in Dallas/Ft. Worth and a shopping center. Julie was also Co-Owner of Partridge Collision Center in Dallas.The center of Julies life was always her love and devotion to God, her husband and family. She was an exemplary role model as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She truly loved mankind and was always generous and selfless addressing the needs of many. To know her was to love her and when life gave her lemons, she made lemonade.Julie quoted, Those who are the happiest are those who do the most for others.Julie was a strong leader, a free spirit filled with life, laughter, love, creativity,intelligence and beauty inside and out. Her radiant smile and flamboyant energy would infiltrate any room. She was a class act and loved glitz and glamour. Her laughter was contagious.Julie was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Kansas. She was the oldest of 5 children. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Partridge; her father, Francis C. Kass and her two brothers, Frank and Vince Kass.She is survived by her mother, Felicia Ann Kass; sister, Karla Kass Scott; sister, Joleen Watson; daughter, Misty White and husband Leland; granddaughter, Aubrey White; daughter, Shannon Tibbits and husband Lawrence; grandsons, Colten and Carter Tibbits and granddaughter, Kendall Tibbits.Mom, you taught us that our faith is our most precious gift. The most beautiful crosses are never the easy ones.We love you dearly and will cherish your memory in our hearts forever until we meet again in Heaven.Your loving spirit will live on through us, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren.
