Jean Nichols Pennington died on June 11, 2011 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born on July 17, 1928 in Acworth, Georgia to a large family. Jean graduated from Shorter College and was a teacher for several years. She is survived by sons; Brian (Dixie) Pennington of Carrollton, Texas, Bob (Orit) Pennington of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Hannelore and Noelle of Carrollton, Texas and Joel of Houston, Texas and brother, Dr. Bill Nichols of Canton, Georgia. A private service will be held in Carrollton, Texas.
