Pierre Andre Falco, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and dedicated watchmaker, passed away at the age of 86 at Baylor University Hospital on October 2, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. Born on May 20, 1938 in Tramelan, in the Swiss Jura mountains, he eventually found his calling in the art of watchmaking. This craft led him to accept the adventure of a lifetime by moving from his small village to work for Bulova Watches, in London, England. After 2 years, hIs adventurous spirit led him to seize another opportunity that would change the course of his life forever when he was hired to work as the manager of UniTime watch factory in St. Croix, the U.S. Virgin Islands in 1966. It is there that he met the love of his life, Angela Falco the moment he laid his eyes on her and Pierre, normally shy and reserved, approached her and asked her for a date. She accepted and the two were married shortly thereafter. Life as an interracial couple in the sixties had its share of challenges, but their love held firm.

In 1981, Pierre and Angela were forced to leave their little paradise due to mounting racial unrest on the island that put their lives at risk. They didn't know what to expect and even as the economy in Dallas entered a recession and unemployment was mounting, the family received a blessing when he easily found a job at the recently opened Rolex Service Center maintaining and repairing Rolex watches. He was known for his meticulous precision, attention and commitment to his work, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Beyond his professional achievements, Pierre cherished time with his family. His faith in God was a cornerstone of his life and he will forever be remembered as a man of integrity, love and devotion.

Pierre is survived by his wife, Angela of 58 years, his 5 children, 15 grandchildren and great grandchildren. His presence will be sorely missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The memorial service for Pierre will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in the sanctuary at Highland Park United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
