Merle Pitts, 89, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 in her sleep.She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James. Also preceding her were her seven brothers and sisters.Surviving her is her son, Bob of Fort Worth; grandson, Coby of Amarillo; granddaughters, Michelle of Norman, Oklahoma, and Julie of Kearney, Missouri; six great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.She was loved by many and leaves behind countless number of friends. Merle was a long time member of Grace Fellowship Church before moving to Fort Worth.A graveside service is planned in June.The family requests any memorials be sent to Grace Fellowship Church.Please leave condolences on this website.
