Carl Polanka, 91, of Carrollton, born March 6, 1922, in Humphrey, NE, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013. He served in WWII in the 390th Bombardment Group. After 20 years of service, he retired with the U.S. Post Office. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 52 years, Mary Polanka. He is survived by his current wife, Wanda, and her four children; his two daughters, Sharon White of Killeen and Carlene Mathis of Ovilla; grandchildren Blake Burgess, Shauna Mora, Cory Bennett, and Kimberly Riley; four great-grandchildren and one nephew Tony Polanka. Services will be held Wednesday December4th, 2013at 2:00 p.m. in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Interment will follow at Little Bethel Memorial Park, Cedar Hill Road, Duncanville, Texas. Please send condolences and sign the guestbook.
