Velma Louise Poole, 83, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010. Service: Family and friends will gather 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch. Velma was born April 8, 1927, to the late Lawrence and Ottis Bradley Carrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil and Jimmy Carrell; and one sister, Doris Landi. Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Robin Poole; grandsons, Jason and Joshua Poole, all of Arlington; sisters, Lois Rickoff of Dallas and Ruth Wortham of Athens; and brother, Ronnie Carrell of Dallas.
