John Weller Pratt, age 61, of Carrollton, Texas passed away suddenly at home on December 22, 2011. He was born on December 18, 1950 in Kansas City, Kansas to Mary and Kenneth Pratt and graduated Washington High School in 1968 and then graduated Emporia State Teachers College in 1972. John was a past Master Counselor of Huron Chapter of DeMolay in Kansas City, Kansas and a member of Wyandotte Lodge AF & AM for over 25 years. He was employed at Frito Lay as a receiving coordinator.John is survived by his wife, Linda, of 35 years; daughter, Cindy Fry (Pratt) and husband Jason of Carrollton, Texas; son, Steven Pratt of Carrollton, Texas; grandson, Byram Fry; two sisters, Sharon Lacey (Pratt) and husband Bob of Hutchinson, Kansas, Georgia Brokaw (Pratt) and husband Jake of Bonner Springs, Kansas; brother, Mickey Pratt and wife Sandi of Hamilton, Georgia; and one special friend that he considered family, Jeannene Moore of Carrollton, Texas and many nephews, nieces and cousins.Wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather you will live in our hearts forever.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 1:30 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel at the North Dallas Funeral Home.
