Mrs. Obeline Ragsdale was born January 11, 1928 in West Monroe, LA and passed away January 11, 2011.She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.B. Jarvis of West Monroe and her husband Snooks Ragsdale of Ruston, LA, as well as her three sisters and four brothers.She is survived by her son, James D. Herold, Jr., his wife Wanda, and her grandsons Michael A. and James D. Herold, III, all of Arlington, TX. She resided there for twenty two years, as a cherished grandmother.She is fondly remembered by sister-in-law Rena Bess Jarvis and ten neices and nephews, as the fun-loving aunt who played board games with serious intent to win, and as an avid bingo enthusiast.Her remains are being held by North Texas Funerals and Cremations until the memorial service, tentatively set for January 29, in West Monroe, LA.
