James Jim Reed was born on February 15, 1925 in Walker, MN and passed away on October 25, 2013 at his home in Dallas, TX. He was 88 years old. Jim served in the USMC during WWII and was wounded during the battles of Saipan and Iwo Jima and at Pearl Harbor. He is survived by children Katherine Reed, Vicky Murray, James Reed Jr. and Robert Reed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years and a daughter, Jackie Smothers. A private service will be held at the DFW National Cemetery.
