Daniel Mia Reyes of Garland Texas died on January 15, 2021; he was 15 years old.Daniel was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of so many people he met. He was able to comfort so many others during their time of pain but lost his own battle with depression. Daniel, who was born Mia Reyes, on October 14, 2005 was a transgender male who suffered from gender dysphoria. He was wise beyond his years, could hold a meaningful conversation with people much older than him, he loved to draw, watch Friends and South Park, was a homebody, loved music, and his fat black cat Gerard who was named after his favorite band: My Chemical Romance.Daniel Mia Reyes is survived by his dad, Robert Reyes II, mother, Brandy Reyes, sister, Peyton Reyes, and an abundance of family.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26,2021 at Royal Haven Baptist Church from 3:00 pm 5:00 pm.In lieu of flowers please consider making donations to The Trevor Project in Daniels memory to help with lifesaving and life affirming services to LGBTQ youth.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
