Robert "Bob" A. Morris, 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 25, 2024. He was born March 31, 1947, in Bay City, Michigan to Arlene and Lawrence Morris.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Kernstock, and brother, John Kernstock. Surviving are his siblings, Gary Kernstock; Donald Kernstock (Linda); Leah McNulty (Ken); Tim Kernstock (Brenda); Cyndi Phillips; Aaron Kernstock (Debbie); and ten nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sophie.

Born and raised in Bay City, Michigan. He moved on to the warmer climates of California, Florida, Nevada, and finally Texas, which he considered his home.

Bob enjoyed helping people and sponsored many through AA, many of which became his Texas family. An AA tribute in honor of Bob was held May 3, 2024, to celebrate his life and forty-two years of sobriety. He loved visiting the northern woods of the lower peninsula of Michigan near the AuSable River. And enjoyed spending time with a long-time friend, Robert Creal.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A private family graveside service will take place at Elwood Cemetery, Grayling, Michigan. Arrangements entrusted to North Dallas Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas.
