Benbrook - ClaraRodriguez, 67, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2008, in her home surrounded byher family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Service: Mass ofChristian Burial will be held at Heritage Baptist Church, 400 Davidson,Benbrook on Wednesday morning at 10am. Burial to follow mass at Benbrook Cemetery, 825 Mercedes

Visitation: 6pm on Tuesday at the church with a Rosaryto follow at 7pm.

Clara was born August 26, 1940 in Madrid, Spain. She met her husband, Angel Rodriguez,while he was stationed in Spain serving with the US Air Force. They married on June 30th, 1964in Gibraltar, England and returned to the United States where Angel wasstationed in Marquette, Michigan.

After time spent in Michigan, Spain, Texas and Italy Claraspent the last 34 years of her life in Benbrook, Texas. Clara will be remembered for the love ofher family and the unconditional acceptance and love of all those in hersurroundings. She was always eager toselflessly respond to those in need.

The family would like to express a special thank you toVITAS Hospice Care for their extraordinary care and compassion shown to Claraand her family during her final days. A special thank you to Laura Villareal who was especially close to thefamily.

Survivors: Husband, Angel Rodriguez; Daughter,Maria Rodriguez, Round Rock; and many other loving family and friends.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents Lola and EnriqueRodriguez.
