William "Bill" Lloyd Russell, Sr., 76 years old, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Carrollton, Texas. Bill was born in El Paso, Texas on March 14, 1939 to Charles and Catherine Russell. He graduated from Austin High School in 1958. On September 30, 1961 he married Barbara Joyce Fletcher. Bill served 2 years in the Army before beginning a long career as president of Coronado Investments and the Lancer's Club.Bill is preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, William, Jr. (Sandy) of Midlothian, Virginia; daughter, Beverly (Randy) of Pilot Point, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Christopher (Sadie), Whitney, Nikki , Kimberly, Melissa and Patrick; and 2 great grandchildren, Aven and Aziza. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Patricia (George) Buchanan of El Paso and Margaret (David) Melton of Houston and several nephews and a niece.Memorial Service will be on Friday, November 13, 2015 at2:00pmin the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
