Mary Kay Sage, 76, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 8, 2013, after a brave battle with cancer.Mary was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on October 21, 1936. She was married to Vernon Sage, who preceded her in death in 2006. Mary was also preceded in death by son John Gardner in 2012.Mary is survived by son, Anthony Gardner and his partner, James Sullivan; step-sons, Vernon Ray, Jr. and his wife, Linda, and Jay and Rusty Sage; her brothers, Tom Riley and his wife, Mary, and Mike Riley; sister, Kathi Riley; several grandchildren, Cinde Harris and her husband, Phillip, Melyssa Alston and her husband, Zac, Erin Anderson, Justin and Karalyn Sage, and David and Lauren Sage. Mary also had several great-grandchildren, Damian Harris, Mary and Madison Alston, and Kaylee and Skylar Sage. She will be missed by other family and friends, and a dog named London.The family of Mary Kay Sage wishes to thank the team from Odyssey Hospice.A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013, in the Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
