Born October 21, 1930 in Niagara Falls, New York to Joseph and Helen Salois. Died November 21, 2011 in Plano, Texas. Walter served in the U.S. Marines and received the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, the Korean Service Medal with Six Stars, a Presidential Citation with One Star and a United Nations Medal. He was Honorably Discharged in 1955. He is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy; children Kim Daniel and her husband Mike, Launi Cooper, and T. J. Salois and his wife Shannon; grandchildren Robin May and her husband Scott, Cori Gentry, Garret Cooper, Dillon Cooper, Samantha Salois, and Jacob Salois; great grandchildren Madyson May and Jacob (Jake) May; and many wonderful friends.A Time of Reflection and Visitation - Wednesday, November 23, 2011 5:00-8:00pm at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
