San Juana Martinez , 92, passed away on July 7, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

San Juana was born on August 21, 1932. She was the youngest daughter born to Basilia and Ponciano Ruiz in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was happily married to Miguel Martinez for 55 wonderful years until he passed away on December 20, 2008.

San Juana has left a great legacy of love, compassion, service, most of all, an unshakeable faith that permeated everything that she did.

She was a wonderful person who loved to cook, make friends, and open her heart and home to anyone who needed support. She was a wonderful example of Christlike love. She fiercely loved and protected her family and friends.

She is survived by daughter Nancy, daughter-in-law Maria, Peggy, and grandchildren Dallas, Kjersty, Shayna, Julian, Rocky, Maddy, Ben, and great-granddaughter Kimbree.

She will be received by her husband Miguel, sons Miguel, Luis Guillermo, and daughter Maria.

The community is welcome to the memorial service that will be held at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 14740 Meandering Way, Dallas, TX 75248 on Saturday, July 19th at 10:00 AM.
