Obituary of Sarah Catherine Jones Sarah Catherine Jones Better known as Mother, Mom, Mama, KaKa & Cathy. Passed away peacefully with family by her side on July 5th, 2023 at the young age of 94. Cathy was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama and claimed that as her home her entire life, but spent the last 46 years in Irving, Texas. She was a dedicated and loyal employee of the US Government, with her last and longest position with the US Postal Service. Cathy is survived by her son William Casey Jones (Linda) of Irving, Texas, Daughter Kasey Barron (Danny) of Dallas, TX and Daughter Sara Rice of Dallas, Texas, Great granddaughter Josie Barron and Great grandson Jake Barron of Dallas, Texas. Cathy is also survived by her brother Don Blevins of Dothan, Alabama, Sister Bobbie Harrelson of Huntsville, Alabama, Sister Lynda Denton (Jerry) of Tallassee, Alabama, Sister Joyce Culp of Gadsen Alabama, Sister Cyndi Rich (Bill) of Charlottesville, VA. And numerous nieces and nephews. Cathy is proceeded in death by her husband William Charles Jones, father Mack Carl Blevins and mother Addice Ruth Blevins, brother Joe Mack Blevins, sister Mary McConnell, sister Carolyn Scibelli and sister Nan Cadenhead. Cathy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
