Carl Martin Scamardo, 79, passed away in Carrollton, TX on October 21, 2014. Born December 3, 1934 in the Brazos County River Bottom to Marion C. and Annie Scamardo. He married, Judy D. Thomas on July 5, 1963. They were together 51 amazing years until his passing. He is survived by his wife Judy, son Kyle, daughter Maria and son in law William Alexander, son Steve and daughter in law Siska and two wonderful grandchildren that were the light of his life, Matthew and Olivia. Also a brother Anthony and sister in law JoAnn, and Sister Therese and brother in law Don Barnes and extended family. He was also a member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church and was proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a Forth Degree and Color Core. Carl was a family man down to his very core. They were always the first thing on his mind and in his heart. He was always a hard worker and took care of his family. Among his favorite hobbies, he was a wonderful woodcrafter and always enjoyed fishing. Carl will be cremated and his final resting place will be at Mary Immaculate Church. There will be no viewing. Services will be on Thursday, October 30th, 2014. 10:00am - The Rosary, 10:30 - Mass and Inurnment immediately follow in the courtyard at Mary Immaculate Church at 2800 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
