John Robert Schulz of Carrollton, Texas, died November 15, 2012. He was 74 years old.John was born February 20, 1938, in Buffalo, New York, to John Edward and Eileen Heusinger Schulz. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked as a computer consultant in the banking industry.John loved to travel including camping, cruises and motorcyles, and was a huge fan of Nascar and the Dallas Cowboys. He liked both country and classical music, as well as kolaches from West, Texas. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed "Friday Cooking with the Ladies"!John is survived by his wife of 25 years, Andra Schulz of Carrollton; sons, John Michael Schulz and wife, Margi, of Houston, James Mark Schulz of Houston, Al Tremko and wife, Christy, of Blue Ridge; daughters, Jean Michelle Hammer and husband, Roger, of Alaska, and Heather Lyn Cowan and husband, Scott, of Burnett; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Judy Newman, Linda Pauley and Lauri Welch; and his beloved dog, Max.Memorial Service: 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2012, in The Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home.Please send family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.
