Robert Clarke Shrauner passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020, at Medical City of Plano, at the age of 69. He was born December 11, 1951, in Amarillo, Texas to Robert and Margaret (Clarke) Shrauner. Clarke graduated from Texas Tech University with an Associate Degree in Business and Agriculture. He owned landscaping businesses in Paris, Texas, and the Dallas, Texas area. He was an active member of First Christian Church in Rowlett for years serving on the Board of Directors and as an Elder of the Church until his death.He married Rita (Harrison) on August 18, 1973, and they had 2 children. The couple moved to the Dallas area in 1989 and moved to Rowlett in 1992 and remained until his death. After his retirement, he and Rita traveled to numerous destinations with both family and friends. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and when his health stopped that he took up sewing, to everyones surprise, and made beautiful quilts for family, friends, and people with cancer.He is survived by his wife Rita Shrauner of Rowlett, Texas; daughter Stephanie Blount, and her husband Alan Blount, of Bangs, Texas; son Jeffrey Shrauner of Rowlett, Texas; sister Jane Binnion of Highland Village, Texas and numerous extended relatives.He is preceded in death by his father Robert G.
