Kris Ann (Bruck) Slavens of Mesquite, Texas born on September 17,1958, passed away on Monday, February 12,2018 at the age of 59, from early onset dementia, while surrounded by loved ones.Kris graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1977. She was very passionate about her family and had a great love of music.She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Doug Slavens; their two daughters, Jaclyn Slavens and Kimberly Slavens Ochoa; two grandchildren, Jacson and Gage; mother, Marlene Allen; sister, Kelly Talbot; brother, Ken Bruck; and many other family and friends.The celebration of Kriss life will be celebrated in the spring with details TBD.If anyone would like to help honor her memory, please make a donation in Kriss name to the Alzheimers Association at www.alz.org.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
