J.T. Smith Jr, born September 17,1931, in Groesbeck, TX, passedaway peacefully July, 12, 2010. J.T.served on the Dallas Police Departmentfor over 23 years. He is precededin death by his parents, AndrewJ.T. and Mable Smith; brother,Wayne Smith and wife Joan, andsister Lanell Bone. He is survivedby Betty, his wife of over 54 years;children Debbie Littrell and husbandDennis, Tammie Pospisil andhusband Scott; three grandchildren,Hunter Tharp, Hillary and StephenRoegelein; brother Jerry Smith andwife Joan; and numerous nieces andnephews. Visitation will be at theNorth Dallas Funeral Home, 2710Valley View Lane, Dallas, Wednesday,July 14, 6:00 to 8:00 pm. FuneralService will be held Thursday,July 14, 9:00 am, at Holy Cross LutheranChurch, 11425 Marsh Lane,Dallas. Interment will follow at HoganCemetery, Groesbeck, 2:30 pm.Memorials can be made to HolyCross Lutheran Church.
