Nov. 16, 1929 - Mar. 1, 2009Bo was born in Dallas, TX and attended Highland Park High School and SMU where she met her husband Leonard Inglis Smith Jr. They married and had five children, David, Rocky, Amy, Molly and Sloane. The two boys predeceased their mother. Unable to overcome cancer, Bo chose to orchestrate and participate in an intimate transition ceremony among a small group of friends and family. Bo is survived by her husband Smitty of 53 years, daughters Anna Mary Yeager Smith, Theresa Sloane Smith, Molly Barnes McEvoy Smith and her husband David Moates; grandchildren Avery and Marissa Moates and her sister Anne Collins and husband Larry. Her ashes will be spread over the graves of her sons.
