Smith Jr., Oscar W. Oscar W. Smith Jr., 67, passed away December 22, 2009 in Dallas, TX at home with his loving wife, Brenda, and daughter by his side. Oscar, raised in Pilot Mountain, NC, was the son of Betty Smith and the late Oscar W. Smith, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Brenda Harvey Smith of VA; mother Betty Smith of NC, children Elisabeth Katz Morris, Richard Katz, Jr, and Mark Smith. Oscar was an active member of the Prestonwood Rotary Club in Dallas. He was also a Paul Harris Fellow. As requested by Oscar, his cremated remains will be with his wife and accompany her to her final resting place. A celebration of Oscar's life will be held in the spring.
