Dennis C. Snyder of Saginaw, TX, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, Tuesday September 11, 2018 at the age of 65. Born June 5,1953 in Huntsville, AL to George and Delores Snyder. Dennis grew up in Harlan, IA before the family moved to Yuma, AZ, in 1967.Dennis was a 1971 graduate of Kofa High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, June 1971 - October 1985, where he rose thru the ranks to TSGT as an aircraft mechanic on C-141 and B-52D aircraft.Following his military service, he worked for American Airlines at DFW as an AMT Crew Chief until he retired Oct 26, 2012.Dennis thoroughly enjoyed retirement life taking multiple cruises with his wife, including the last 2 weeks of his life. He loved traveling this country and abroad, reading and was an avid race car fan.Dennis was preceded in death by his father, George Snyder, brothers Jeff Snyder and Tom Snyder.Dennis leaves behind the love of his life and best friend of 38 years, Virginia Snyder of Saginaw, TX, mother Delores Snyder of Yuma, AZ, sons Jason Snyder and wife April of Indianapolis, IN, John Snyder of Colorado Springs, CO., sisters Penni Snyder and JoBeth Rowe and husband Keith of Yuma, AZ, granddaughters Jordan Snyder of Azle, TX, and Brittany Snyder of Indianapolis, IN, nephew Justin Quary at NMSU of Las Cruses, NM.Dennis will be laid to rest with military honors at 11am Tuesday September 18, 2018 at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.Dennis will be forever missed by all those that knew and loved him.We love you Dennis and you will forever be in our hearts.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
