Obituary

Ida Agatha Stasio Solo went to see our passed away March 10, 2009. She was a resident of Walnut Place in Dallas. She was born on March 15, 1904 in Walton, New York. Ida loved to cook and became very successful at it by running a catering business. Her recipes were incredible and the greatest gift that she gave all of us is her gift of tasty morsels from heavenly cookies to unforgettable entrees and desserts. Ida is well known throughout Dallas and has too many friends to count. There are so many more things to say about our beloved Ida but space does not permit. We just want to all say "We love you Ida, go in peace and go with God". Ida is preceded in death by her husband, Humbert Solo and her oldest son, Richard Solo. She is survived by her sons, Gary Solo, his wife, Yvonne, Andy Solo, his wife, Karen. Ida's brother Andrew Stasio, his wife, Norma. Grandchildren, Brenda, Dennis, Vicki, Dawn, Barri, Cori and Ritchie and 8 great grandchildren. Ida almost made it to 105 years, but what will always be most memorable is her sweet smile. Viewing and rosary will be at St. Rita's Catholic Community, Friday, March 13th, 6pm-8pm (rosary at 7pm). Funeral Mass at St. Rita's Catholic Community on March 14th at 1pm with interment at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
