Sonya Wolf, aged 79, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on August 8, 2025.

She was born on July 4th, 1946, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She enjoyed her time with family and friends, was immensely proud of her heritage and upbringing.

Sonya was a teacher for over 20 years and enjoyed her time around children. She was known for her lively character, and addictive laugh. She was also an accomplished artist, and was known for her love of Asian dollmaking, along with her love of China painting, and oil painting.

Sonya is survived by her husband of 59 years, Peter Wolf, as well as her two children, Stephen Wolf and Susan Post.

A memorial Mass in her honor will take place at Mary Immaculate Church in Farmers Branch, Texas. Visitation starts at 9:30, followed by mass at 10am.
