Born March 16, 1915 Brownwood, TX and peacefully passed on Saturday, May 17 at the age of 99. Daughter of H. Gliddeon Wilson Sr. and Cynthia Easley Wilson. Reared and educated in Brownwood. Graduate of Howard Payne University and listed in American Colleges and Universities. English teacher for over 30 years ending her career at Bryan Adams High School. Lifelong member of the First Christian Church joining at age 12 and served as Sunday school teacher, deacon, elder and board chairman.Survived by son Jack Hunter of Dallas; Kim Mrozek and family of Coppell, TX; Leslee Mallinson and family of Dallas; and a huge, beloved extended family of nieces, nephews, step-children, and grandchildren and great grandchildren.Those close to her knew her as Mimi or Dorothy Rose and appreciated her sense of humor, loving nature, and graciousness she shared.Graveside services will be held June 5, 2014 at 10:30am at the Greenleaf cemetery in Brownwood, TX.Please send family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.
