Anyone who knewGene, understood the importanceof music in his life. He started theTuesday night jam at FarmersBranch Senior Center, sang regularlyat local nursing homes, hischurch and at many area jams.Gene believed that "wherever twoor more are gathered, there shall bemusic." Gene was a member of theSenior Golf League at L.BHouston Golf Course and was therecipient of many awards, one ofwhich was a Hole-In-One award.Gene loved to travel and was blessedwith two wonderful travel companions;his first wife Dorotha,who predeceased him, and his secondwife, Jeannie.Gene was predeceased by his parents,first wife Dorotha, and abrother, Dewayne.
