Stanley Beck Tanner was born on May 17, 1956, in Dallas, Texas. He passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 67.

Stanley graduated from Skyline High School in 1974 and received his associates degree in computer literacy from North Lake College.

He spent his secular career as a computer programmer, but his true love was preaching the gospel. He was the minister of Prairie Heights Church in Caddo Mills, Texas. He was a faithful supply teacher for the Connect 5 Class at Valwood. His great love was talking to people about the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his father, Victor Eugene and his son Christopher Shane Tanner. He is survived by Peggy, his wife of 48 years and his mother Beth Tanner.

He will be deeply missed by his loving family, his devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.

There will be a celebration of Life for Stanley on Thursday, May 23 at Valwood Park Baptist Church at 11:00 p.m. The burial will be at Beck's Chapel Cemetery in Cross Roads, Texas on May 24 at 1:00.
