Nellie Naomi (Nichols) Starnes passed away on Sunday morning, October 27, 2019 at 8:15 am; she has gone on to a better place and will be with her husband, of 67 years, Darrell Starnes. Naomi was born in Grayson County Texas to Clarence and Annie Nichols; she was one of nine children. She and Darrell were married on Christmas Eve 1938 and had a long & joyful marriage until Darrells passing away in 2005.She is survived by her son, Robert Darrel Starnes of Dallas; her grandson, Robert Scott Starnes of Wimberley, Texas; her sister Jimmie Ruth Nichols of Dallas; many loving nieces and nephews; and a host of friends that will all miss her company and warm personality.May she rest in peace.Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 9178 Webb Chapel Road, Dallas, Texas 75220.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
