Stephen Duncan
Freeman
December 22, 1944 – November 16, 2025
Stephen Duncan Freeman, born in 1944 to Virginia and O.B. Freeman died just shy of his 81st birthday on November 16th 2025. After graduating from Highland Park High School in Dallas TX, Steve spent time at Trinity University in San Antonio, then onward to the US Coast Guard. It's rumored too that he even tried his hand as a performer during the mid 60's folk revival. Eventually he built a storied career in sales, retiring in 2010. His real passion and life's work though was his family, all else was secondary. Meeting the love of his life Donna in the late 60's and marrying in 1970, the pair eventually had two boys and landed in Southlake TX, building their lifelong family home.
Steve is survived by his brother Brad Freeman and family, sons Matthew Freeman, Lang Freeman and by his loving wife Donna Freeman. Steve spent a lifetime in a self confessed search for "the honest man," far too humble to ever realize that his search began and ended every day when he looked in the mirror. To say he is loved is a catastrophic understatement. He is adored, cherished and will be forever missed.
