Obituary of Steven Lee Colbert It is with a deep sense of sorrow and loss that the family of Steven Lee Cobert 60, of Dallas, Tx, passed away at his home on September 15, 2023. Born on June 27, 1963, in Coffeyville, KS to Donald and Rosemary Colbert. Steven attended college at USAO in Chickasha, Ok where he received his degree in music. He moved to Oklahoma City, Ok after college graduation and worked for the Color Tile corporation as a regional manager. He moved to Dallas in the year 2000 and began working in law enforcement. Steve (as he liked to be called), went on to own his own security company and was a licensed private investigator. Steves hobbies included reading his Bible, volunteering at Dare to Dream Childrens Foundation where he ministered to at risk youth, fishing, playing golf, and collecting Star Trek memorabilia. Steves kindness and witty humor brought joy to many. He is survived by his sister Angela Pitts, his nephew, Antoine Pitts and his brother and law of Lenexa, Ks along with many cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends who will all miss him dearly.
