Lillian Mae Curtis Stokeswas born December 5, 1922 in Duffau, Texas (Erath County) toHaywood Harrington Curtis and Virgie Victoria Montgomery.The family circle included ten brothers and sistersJim, Roscoe, Charley, Cecil, Marie, Billie, Inez, Veda,and Vera. Her sister Marie Flowers survives her as well asthree cousins Karen, Janette and Bill Flowers.Lillian married Edward Chandler Stokes who preceded her in death.Lillian and Edward leave a legacy of three children; son, Kenneth Stokes and his wife, Diane, daughter, Chaniese and her husband, Tommy Collins,and daughter, Nancy and her husband, Ken Goodwin.The legacy continues with beloved grandchildren; Jenya, Holly, Zach, Ashely, and Chase, andgreat granddaughter Ella Claire.Funeral services are set for Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
