Don passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the age of 75 andis walking the streets of Heaven after a long battle with Parkinson Disease. He was born December 5, 1940 in Emblem, Texas to Henry and Flora Mae (Lucky) Story.He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley; mother, Flora Mae Story; brother, GeneStory and wife, Pat; brother, Rodney Storyand, wife Barbara; sister, Aliceand husband, Richard; andnumerous nieces and nephews. He ispreceded in deathby his dad, Henry Story; daughter of his heart, Angela; and one brother.Donserved proudly in theUnited StatesNavy for 4 years on the USS GREENWICH Bay. Hewas a software engineer for many years. Heloved golf, reading westerns, and gambling.He was a Christian man who wasloving, kind, generous, and a sweet person. His mother, who survives him, honors him as a "Good and Perfect son".He was well loved and shall be missed.Visitation will be on Friday, August 19, 2016 from noon to 1:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Funeral Service will follow the visitation and will begin at 1:00 pm in the chapel.Interment will be at approximately 2:30 pm at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810 N.
