Frances Ann Walker Strittmatter, of Carrollton, Texas passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the age of 86. She was born on February 21, 1932 to Sidney and Hazel Walker in Dallas, Texas.She graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas in 1949 and married Robert William Strittmatter on June 2, 1951. Together they had six children. Frances worked as a secretary for various companies throughout her career and as an accounting technician for Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) where she retired in 1996.She is preceded in death by her parents and oldest son, Robert William Strittmatter Jr. (Bob). She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert, Sr., five children; Michael Strittmatter (Polly), Lisa Crosby (Steve), Mark Strittmatter, Kathy Pyle, and Linda Lister (Marc); twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; a sister, Betty May; a brother, Sid Walker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.A rosary service will be held for Frances at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, Texas on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with a Memorial Massimmediately following at 11:00 a.m.Frances was dearly loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her but most especially by her loving husband whose loyalty and love remained a constant source of strength for her.
