Robert W. Strittmatter, Jr. (Bob), of Carrollton, Texas passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the age of 62. He was born on August 31, 1952 in Dallas, Texas.He graduated from R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas in 1970, attended North Texas State University and served in the United States Air Force.He is preceded in death by his wife, Failla Strittmatter. He is survived by his loving parents, Robert, Sr. and Frances Strittmatter; two brothers, Michael Strittmatter (Polly) and Mark Strittmatter; three sisters, Lisa Crosby (Steve), Kathy Pyle (Billy), and Linda Foster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.A rosary service will be held for Bob at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, Texas on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service immediately following at 10:30 a.m.Bob was extremely fun-loving, witty and kind-hearted.
