Charles Charlie Patrick Sullivan, 71, long-time resident of Bedford, Texas, passed away peacefully early in the morning on Thursday, April 4, 2019 after a long battle with leukemia. He was surrounded by close friends and family.Charlie was born January 28, 1948 to parents Ruth and John Sullivan in New York City. The family, along with his 2 brother and 3 sisters resettled in New Jersey where Charlie graduated from William L. Dickenson High School. He joined the Air Force in 1968 and served as a communications technician. He was later stationed in England where he met the love of his life, Ann Constantinou. They had two boys, Jason and Anthony. He was later stationed in Texas and settled there with his family after an honorable discharge. He attended Dallas Baptist University and graduated with a degree in business.Charlie was an active member of Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Euless, Texas where he was a convert to the faith. He served on the parish council and, along with his wife, was a member of the senior fellowship, also known as The Ageless Wonders.Charlie loved to entertain and make people laugh. He especially liked music, movies, and a really good joke. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family, which included his wife, sons, grand children, a brother and two sisters. He brought great joy to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.He is survived by his wife, Ann Sullivan; sons, Jason Sullivan and Anthony Sullivan; grandchildren, Ami Hickman, Nick Sullivan, Arianna Nau, Austin Colgrove, and Chloe Sullivan; brother, John Sullivan; sisters Peggy Decker and Barbara Jerue; daughters-in-law, Fawn Sullivan and Kristyna Sullivan; brothers-in-law, Rod Decker and Dave Jerue; and sister-in-law, Carole Sullivan.Visitation services are scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2019, 7:00p.m. at the Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Euless. Funeral services are scheduled at 10:15a.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.
