Obituary of Teresa Odom We are saddened to inform everyone that our beloved Teresa Odom has passed away. She was born on October 31st, 1978, and lived to be 44 years old. She passed on August 30th, 2023, in her home of natural causes. Teresa struggled with many health issues in recent years, and now she can finally rest. Teresa had a beautiful spirit and a huge heart. She would welcome anyone with open arms and love them as if they were her own family. It did not matter if she was struggling with her own battles, if you needed help, Teresa would be there. Day or night. You could just call her, and she would be ready to help any way she could. She was always very creative when coming up with solutions for problems and always thought outside of the box. She could always overcome obstacles placed in her path with grace and cunning. She was a great person to bounce ideas off of when trying to come up with a game plan. In own words No matter what life throws at me; I am going to tackle it head on. I am a very strong person, and I will make it through anything. She would not give up even if the odds were not in her favor. It was important to her to stay close to her childhood friends and members of her family. She was a great friend to many, and you could always count on her to show up for you. She never missed a birthday. Without fail, even if you werent all that close to her, she would call at least once to say happy birthday. if you did not answer the first time. She was going to call again. She always wanted everyone to know how much she loved and cared for them. Teresa was a one-of-a-kind person. She had a big personality and was not afraid to speak her mind. She would not judge anyone before getting to know them. She always kept an open mind and always had room in her heart for anyone. Words cannot describe how genuine and unique she was and how she would try to brighten anyones day. You could always count on Teresa to lighten the mood in uncomfortable situations. The amount of love Teresa was able to release into the world in one lifetime was absolutely remarkable. From her many friends throughout the years, to her family and to her children, everyone she met, she impacted in some way. She will be kept in the hearts of many for years to come and will be watching over all of us as we navigate the rest of our lives without her. Teresa leaves behind her three children Anthony, Austin, and Judy; Her siblings Margaret, Savana, Kathy and Doty. She is also survived by her mother Richanda Hook. Her memory remains and her legacy lives on with her children who are equally as loving and caring as she was. Our hope as her family is that her memory lives on with every single person whose life she touched. We ask that everyone who loved Teresa share a memory or pictures with us as we prepare for her memorial service.
