Teresa
Settle
August 11, 1953 – December 8, 2025
Teresa Jo Settle (Fisher), known to many as Terry, age 72, of Coppell, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025 with her pastors praying over her when she went to be with her Lord. Terry was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Joyce Fisher, her brother Bruce Edward Fisher, grandparents, great-grandparents, and her many cherished dogs. Terry was born on August 11, 1953 in Fargo, North Dakota. Born with a generous heart and a quiet strength, she built a life centered around faith, family, and giving to others. She worked for many years in Records Management for Oxy Chemical in Dallas before retiring, a role she took great pride in. Terry was a devoted member of First Methodist Church of Coppell, where she joyfully taught adult Sunday school and poured her time and love into every lesson. Her faith was evident in the kindness she showed to everyone around her. She loved preparing sack lunches for hungry students and reading to elementary children. She, herself, was an avid reader and loved being a part of her book group as well as her prayer group where she made so many loving relationships. One of her favorite things every year was her girls trip to the beach in South Texas. She was creative and her creativity and warmth were reflected in the many crafts she created and shared with so many. She was especially well-known for her exceptional baking - particularly during Christmas when her homemade treats became cherished traditions in the homes of countless friends and family. Teresa is survived by her sisters, Debbie Procopio (husband Tim), Mary Owens (husband Trent), nieces and nephews whom she considered her own children, Cory Fisher (wife Kayley), Daniel Fisher, Bailee Lockard (husband Tanner), Piper Daniels (husband Aaron), Lauren Crane (husband Davon), and Jordan Owens, each with a special place in her heart. She was also survived by 3 great nieces and 4 great nephews. She will be remembered for her boundless generosity, her gentle spirit, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the lessons she taught, and the family she adored.
