Obituary of Thomas F. Wasolaskus Thomas F. Wasolaskus passed away Sunday January 14, 2024 in Dallas, TX. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on October 1st 1947, and made Dallas his home in 1978, where he resided until his death.
He was a proud veteran, serving from1966-1968 in the Vietnam war earning a Vietnam campaignmedal,Service Medal, Good conduct Medal, National Defense Medal. He then became a well regarded barber, and loved his job at Culwell and Sons Grooming Room, where he worked for 40 years until the day of his passing.
He loved and was loved deeply by his many friends and his family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Juanita Wasolaskus, and sister, Joani Wasolaskus.
He leaves behind his brother, David Wasolaskus, dearly loved nieces; Emily (Nate) Chivis, Caitlin Wasolaskus, Michele (Jesse) Baragar, and great nephews and nieces, Jameson, Asher, Savannah, and Brooklyn. As well as many cousins. Tom was the beloved former husband to Joni Heilskov, who he held in high regard for his remaining time.
