Homer Eugene Trabits was born August 1, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York to James and Ann Trabits. He served our country in the U.S. Navy and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal. He married Margaret Ethel (Scott) Trabits who survives him. He is also survived by his daughter Patricia Ann Yarbrough and her husband James Yarbrough, and his daughter Judith Diane Pittman; five granchildren and five great grandchildren.A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2012, 12:00pm at North Dallas Funeral Home with a time of Visitation beginning at 10:00am prior to the service. Dr. Bob Poteet of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church will be officiating.
