Michael Vaccaro, known to many as Mikey, passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2020 at his home in Texas at the age of 35. Mikey was born in Tucson, AZ where he graduated from Canyon Del Oro High School in 2003. Mikeys love of the culinary arts and his desire to cook and serve others inspired his decision to attend and graduate from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute as a Certified Chef. Throughout his many years of dedication and loyalty, he finally got the opportunity to pursue his dream and moved to Texas with the love of his life. His passion for cooking was only surpassed by his love for people, especially his family.Mikeybefriended many from all walks of life and accepted everyone for who they were. He was passionate about the things he loved, incredibly down to earth and had a smile that could light up a room.He will bedeeply missed by all thosewho were lucky enough to cross paths with him,coworkersand friendsthat enjoyed his wit, dedication to his craft and fine skills in the kitchen,as well ashisfamily who cherished him greatly.He is survived bybest friend,love of his life, partner in all the aspects of his lifeRachyl, mother Eileen,brother Anthony, sistersTara and Megan, andwas predeceased by his father George.Memorial services have yet to be determined.
