LaDona Kay Vaughan, age 46, of Irving, Texas passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2014. She was born on September 17, 1968 to Sharon Sue (Peters) and Robert Vaughan Jr. in Mineral Wells, Texas. She met her husband, Williamjon Bleaker Patton, in 1985. She graduated from CNA school June 28,1991 and later spent 17 years working at Susan's Omelet restaurant in Las Colinas, Texas. She and her husband were blessed with their only child, Austin William Niles Patton, in May of 1996.LaDona was a dedicated mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Her son Austin was the absolute light of her life. She was the peacemaker of the house and enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening.LaDona's life and legacy will continue to be honored and celebrated by her husband Billy and his family, and their son Austin. Two sisters, Suzanne Baca of Diana, Texas, and Zanita Lewis of Florence, Texas. One brother, Robert Vaughan III and his wife Renee also of Florence and ten nieces and nephews, Nikki Anthony of White Oak, Texas (husband Brian, daughters Andrea and Hannah), Brittany Reavis of Diana, Texas (husband Chad, daughter Alydia and son Gavin), Alisha Packer of Longview, Texas and Tyler Walworth, Samantha Vaughan, Kelby Vaughan, Kathryn Vaughan, Caden Vaughan, Kian Vaughan, and Kaia Vaughan all of Florence, Texas. She had countless friends that she considered family.LaDona is preceded in death by her parents Sharon and Robert Vaughan Jr.A private ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2014 at 3 pm with Rev.
