Jessica Ann Monjaras Velazquez 36, of Grand Prairie passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019. She was born on December 19, 1982 in Cuero, Texas. She worked hard all her life in property management for 19 years. She was very bright, very outgoing, and caring, she loved to have fun, go on vacations, she enjoyed eating shrimp, and she always made a grand entrance, and most of all she loved to spend time with her family. She was on of kind and will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.She survived by who she considered her son Chaparro Velazquez(dog); mother, Juana Tamez of Irving; father, Miguel Monjaras of Garland; stepmother, Guadalupe Monjaras of Garland; sisters, Rosa Soto of Lewisville and Mary Avila of Arlington; and brothers, Miguel Monjaras Jr of Grand Prairie, Belen and Tiffany Monjaras of Irving, and Jonathon Tamez of Garland. She is also survived by her nieces, Monica Espinosa of Irving, Lindsay Olvera of Garland, Jennifer Olvera of Garland, and Lilliana Monjaras of Irving; nephews, Kobe Soto of Lewisville, Samuel Olvera of Garland, and Xavier Monjaras of Irving.Pallbearers will include Miguel Monjaras Jr, Belen Monjaras, Jonathan Tamez, Dabi Lara, Filegonio Monjaras, and Kobe Soto.Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Rosary 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel at the North Dallas Funeral Home 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Funeral Services will be Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at North Dallas Funeral Home.Interment will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
