Carlos Samuel Verver of Irving, TX passed away quietly and peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2017 due to complications of Parkinsons disease and dementia.Carlos was born June 21, 1942 in Alice, TX to parents Gumaro and Margarita (Anguiano) Verver. He graduated from Irving High School in 1962 and worked hard for over 40 years at Massey Ferguson/AGCO in a warehouse in Dallas. He had been a prominent member of Kirkwood United Methodist Church in Irving and performed several times in the churchs presentation of The Last Supper. A loving and devoted father, Carlos did his best to raise his three children as a divorced single father. He welcomed all who approached him, was a dad to the friends of his children, and grandfather to those who needed one.Carlos is survived by his children Temi and Gary Russell of Irvine, CA; Craig and Kimberly Verver of Bothell, WA; and Kevin and Kristy Verver of Dallas, TX. He also leaves behind several grandchildren by birth, marriage, or otherwise (Kari, Marissa, Makayla, Richard, Steven, Rosa, Brianna, Alysen, Jazlene, Zoe, and Madison). Survivors also include his brother and sister-in-law David and Carolyn Verver, brother Danny Verver, sister Nina Carelock, and countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.Carlos is preceded in death by his parents, brother Samuel, and brother Elionel.Services are still pending.
