Jean Treadaway Walden, 85 went to be with her passed away and Savior on Monday, December 30, 2013. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.Jean was born just minutes after her twin sister Jane on August 5, 1928 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1946 and later graduated from Texas Christian University with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. Over 50 years she taught elementary school and owned a Preschool and Daycare with her sister, Jane. She was a teacher at heart and touched the lives of numerous children. For her children and grandchildren she taught them about life, love and the importance of faith and family. Her children and granddaughters were everything to her and she was everything to them. She will be profoundly missed.She was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Pass; her niece, Patty Martin; and her brother Ted Treadaway. Survivors: sons, Andrew (Annette) and Ronald Jenkins; granddaughters, Stephanie Shaw and Samantha (Aaron) Meroney; sister-in-law Betty Jane Treadaway and numerous nieces, nephews and friends all of whom she loved dearly.Please send family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.
